Successful Funding for Orara Valley River Care Groups Management Committee

The Member for Coffs Harbour, Andrew Fraser, will be presenting the Orara Valley River Care Groups Management Committee Inc with a certificate from the NSW Environmental Trust for its successful application for funding.   The NSW Environmental Trust was established in 1998 to support exceptional environmental projects that do not receive funds from the usual government sources.   The Orara Valley River Care Groups Management Committee Inc’s successful application of $99,999 will be used for restoration and rehabilitation in connecting riparian rainforest along Bucca Creek and north of Nana Glen….

Fraser calls on Coffs Harbour City Council to withdraw Priority Habitats and Corridor Strategy

At a public meeting at Nana Glen last night, Member for Coffs Harbour, Andrew Fraser, called on Coffs Harbour City Council (CHCC) to withdraw the Coffs Harbour Priority Habitats and Corridors Strategy 2010 – 2030 immediately. Mr Fraser said this Strategy has been released by CHCC late last year as a draft with public submissions originally closing on 29 January.
