Member for Coffs Harbour Andrew Fraser said the Regional NSW Investment Prospectus, launched this week by Deputy Premier John Barilaro, will highlight the benefits and opportunities associated with domestic and international investment on the Coffs Coast.

Mr Fraser said the Investment Prospectus is an interactive online tool designed to attract national and international investment in regional NSW.

“The Investment Prospectus will highlight to potential investors the enormous benefits associated with doing business and creating businesses on the Coffs Coast,” Mr Fraser said.

“Attracting investment is key to ensuring our region continues to grow, offers great job opportunities and becomes an even more vibrant place to live.

“The interactive Prospectus will not only be a tool for prospective investors, it’s also a tool for businesses seeking investment, and in some cases will work to “match make” investors with those businesses looking to grow.”

Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW John Barilaro launched the Regional NSW Investment Prospectus in Casino on Tuesday, and welcomed Consuls General and Trade Commissioners from 15 countries to the region as part of a two-day trade mission.

Mr Barilaro, who was also in Coffs Harbour on Wednesday for the inaugural Australian Ladies Classic – Bonville Pro Am, said he was thrilled to launch the website in front of a trade delegation of such size and stature as they toured regional NSW.

“Our international guests got to see some of the region’s best businesses in action, and enjoy outstanding local produce and stunning scenery,” he said.

“It’s unprecedented to have so many international delegates in our backyard – what a huge win and amazing opportunity for regional NSW.

“We want people from overseas to look at regional NSW and think what a great place to start or grow a business and that is what the Investment Prospectus is all about.”

The Investment Prospectus will focus on supporting businesses that are expanding and developing new market opportunities, setting up greenfield operations or planning to relocate to regional NSW.

Regional NSW is the largest and most diverse regional economy in Australia, comprising one-third of the NSW economy. Further information can be found at
